The VAT act is finally approved by the parliament and the Guardian Council - 22 May 2008

Necessary Preparations have been made to establish the VAT office in Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad Province


The director of Economics and Finance Organization of Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad Province declared that necessary preparations have been made to establish a VAT office in the province.
Ali Moslehi told IRNA on Wednesday that:” Establishment of this office shall lead to great changes in direct and indirect tax collections of the province and they in turn shall result in observable increase of tax revenues.”
He also said that:” To provide necessary work space for establishing VAT offices in the province effectual measures have been taken in Yasooj, Gachsaran and Dehdasht cities”.
He added that VAT office will need 33 personnel, the recruitment permission of whom shall be issued by the Iranian National Tax Administration (INTA) and added that VAT offices shall begin work from 22th September 2008, in all cities of Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad Province,.”
He also declared that providing necessary office equipment and software and hardware systems [necessary] for VAT offices of Kohkiloye and Boyerahmad shall be upon the Iranian National Tax Administration (INTA) offices in Tehran.
